My name is Caroline, and I am a fully trained and insured Independent Celebrant based in East Lothian, serving in the Edinburgh and the Lothians area.
I will work closely with you, guiding you, as we create a service fit for any occasion. It is an incredibly challenging time for any family after a loved one has died, to then be faced with the task of planning a funeral. I can bring some ease to the process and alleviate any stress or anxiety about the ceremony itself.
I will work closely with you and your Funeral Director so that you always know you are in safe hands. Most importantly, I will sit with you and hear the stories that you want to share of the person you are grieving. I will combine whatever wishes your loved one had expressed for their funeral that you would like to honour, as well as any tributes or readings that you or other family and friends wish to include.

It all starts by exploring your requirements and your wishes. I will meet with you several times before the big day then write a personal ceremony tailored just for you. It will be beautifully constructed, as traditional or non-traditional as you wish, but with added personality.
